I second the request for the brand of starch. I tried a home made recipe http: At first, mine was just as you described, a watery, slimy mess. However, I decided liquid starch where to buy canada add more glue. At first it was a goopy and really sticky mess, but after a couple of minutes of squishing it together, it came together great. At first I used 2 small 4 oz bottles of glue and used the glue bottle to measure out the liquid starch. I ended up using another half bottle of glue for it all to come together.

I made it today with the kiddos. I used my Bosch and it took about 5 min. You need the cookie paddles for it to work. Occasionally stop to pull the putty away from the center and move all to one side of the mixer. Mix on the highest setting. Do you know where I can get Sta Flo liquid starch???
